The Holy Spirit & Healing Miracles: The Holy Spirit is attributed to many healings in Christianity.. Jesus himself attributed all his miracles to the power of Holy spirit. In the modern days, two people who have spoken extensively on Holy spirit are Benny Hinn and Oral Robertson, besides people like Charles Ibrahim and Paul Dinakaran. Benny Hinn goes on to say that Holy Spirit is a persona…and not a formless aspect. Bible itself provides limited details of what Holy Spirit is…and my understanding is that only certain sections of Christianity pay attention to it. The statement that the Holy Spirit is a persona, or a Being, is amazing that once again makes us trust the power of divine beings that heal.. Most ancient traditions have Gods and Goddesses, who all have a persona (and their own galaxies) and who can be invoked, by some incantations/mantra. It is something like using alien or extra terrestrial intelligence for the betterment of one's life in this world!
You may think that belief in alien intelligence is superstitious! Shirley McClaine who was very close Ronald Reagan says that the actor quit acting to join politics, as advised by an alien! I couldn't believe this when I first read it...
Shirley Mcclaine has written many books, and one of them "Going Within" deserves special mention. Being a mainstream actress, she got lot of flak by openly expressing her faith in aliens.
Shirley MacLaine claims that an Alien told Reagan to quit acting and take up politics
Back to the Holy Spirit!
The Holy Spirit often comes as “wind” (hence the term, holy Ghost) …Some of the evangelical sessions of Benny Hinn (and his mentor, Kathryn Kuhlman ) are characterized by wind blowing as Holy Spirit is invoked! Also, in Bible, God “blew the air” to create Adam (“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being).
Holy spirit is the breath of God! As mentioned in the article, the original Hebrew word used is (Ruach – meaning air which is the same word for breath).. Here is the quote “ We almost get a little spooky talking about the Holy Ghost, but the Hebrew word behind spirit is ruach, and it means "air in motion." It is the same word for "breath." It also means "life." By resemblance to breath and air in motion, it means "spirit." That’s where we get the translation
In the East, the term Prana (or breath in simplest terms ) is often used by saints to create “live” idols by infusing “prana”……There are stories of deities like Ganesha, who was created by his mother, Parvati, by taking a mound of sand and blowing “air” into it!
